How To Create Fake 3D Effect In Glorify

Fake 3D in Glorify

As of now, there is no 3D button you could click on to instantly turn 2D images into 3D.

However, there is a simple technique I’ve been using for a while that creates images almost as realistic as genuine 3D. It works with text, images, objects and more.

But before I share with you how I’ve achieved this simple effect, know that it’s not a real thing.

If you want real 3D, use tools like Cinema 4D, Lightwave, Blender, and whatever other 3D apps you can get your hands on your iPad and then bring it to Glorify.

Anyway…

Here is what I’ve done:

  1. Started a new project in Glorify (1920×1080) and named it Fake 3D.
  2. Dropped an image I found on Pixabay onto my canvas.
  3. Got rid of the background.
  4. Then duplicated the layer with the image and scaled it up until it was large enough, covering just part of the canvas.
  5. Placed text in between those layers and used a blur effect to blur the scaled image until it created an effect similar to what photographers call depth of field.
  6. Then I used another effect called noise and added a bit of noise for further enhancement.

And that’s it…

If you want me to make a video about it, let me know…

I also wrote aobut it in more detail here…

https://glorifytemplates.com/blog/b/fake-3d-effect-in-glorify

I’ll see if I can squeeze in a minute or two for a simple video, walking you through it step by step.

You’re welcome…

Think of it as a giant Instagram carousel post made of flyers…

On my recent trip to Slovakia, I spotted a cool idea…

I was on the train, looking outside and enjoying my trip…

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the train stopped. There was a wall stretching for about 100 meters…

It caught my attention because there were flyers hanging on that wall… framed and spaced out about a meter apart from each other…

However, the best part was the idea behind it…

Each flyer led to another one.

Think of it as a giant Instagram carousel post made of flyers.

And guess what was at the end of the wall?

I bet you have no idea…

I didn’t…

There was a real book framed behind the plexiglass with a message…

Support this awesome project by buying this book…

And then, the title of the book and so on.

I thought it was a brilliant advertisement!

It got my brain spinning faster than the centrifuge in a local amusement park.

And before I arrived in Zilina, I had a list with a dozen ideas for a new project.

And so…

Why am I telling you all this?

…because traveling (learning about other cultures, and seeing things with your own eyes) will expand your brain, your thinking process… and is behind every project I’ve ever designed to this day.

Traveling shaped who I am today.

I can’t remember starting a new project where the design wouldn’t be inspired by something I either saw while exploring new countries with my backpack strapped to my back or experienced myself.

There is a quote I fell in love with…

“I am not the same, having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.” ― Mary Anne Radmacher

And with that, I finish this short message…

If you’re interested and would love to design beautiful Instagram carousels effortlessly, there is a design tool I can’t shut up about that is simple to use… will save you time, and in the long run, money… and perhaps a ton of frustrations… called Glorify.

I’m an early adopter since 2019 and crafted gazillion ads, website banners, flyers, templates, and other things I share here… Some for free, some for a few bucks.

Feel free to look around…

Helping Health & Welness Coach Realize Her Dream

Yesterday, a colleague of mine spilled her guts about her dream of becoming a health and wellness coach.

But here’s the thing…

She’s got the vision, the passion, but zilch when it comes to piecing it together.

Listening to her for few minutes I realized suggesting Leadpages would be like handing a caveman a smartphone.

So, I stepped up.

Fired up by her ambition, I threw together a killer landing page using Glorify. Shot her a quick message and bam, she was over the moon.

Now, it’s crunch time.

Heading to Leadpages to seal the deal.

Let’s hope the final landing page is gonna give smile on her face.

I think with such a mountain of chaos on her plate, any help is blessing.

Let’s go!

Glorify – Beauty Queen Template Is Out

Glorify - Beauty Queen Template

So there is this adult show (18+) I won’t name the name… which got me thinking of a promotion flyer I then designed in Glorify.

Nice, girly, seksy, interesting flyer I’m giving away to anyone willing to put enough effort into clicking the link below, go to my glorifytemplates.com website and download it for free.

I know, I know…

It’s a lot of effort but I promise, you’ll find this template helpful.

And it’s easy to edit too.

Woke Up With An Idea For Youtube Automation Channel

Woke up with an idea for an automated YouTube channel…

Something I’m diving into more and more, especially when my kids are here.

I became one big eye, spotting new opportunities everywhere.

Take kids’ videos, for example.

A guy goes out with a kid to build a sandcastle, and the video gets millions of views.

Or a kid plays with a toy he got from his dad, who’s behind the camera, and they assemble a new rocket ship, and again, the video gets hundreds of millions of views… and on and on.

I can’t help but think about how much money such channels make per video every time they upload. And then, how much the video makes after a year, two, or even five years through passive income as the channel ‘ages’ a bit.

How much do companies pay per video to have them ‘review’ or, better yet, play with their products? It’s thousands of dollars.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve played videos like these for my kids and let them watch them over and over again.

And how many times they’ve watched the entire YouTube ads because they didn’t know how to skip them.

Now, are making videos like these difficult? Heck no.

Is the video editing software expensive? No! Use CapCut; it’s free.

Is the voiceover (narration) costly for the creator? Of course not. With tools like ElevenLabs, it’s just a few bucks per video.

How much does it cost to hire a video editor or someone who does the research, edits the videos, and then sends you the finished product?

Well, based on Fiverr.com, you can expect to pay somewhere between $50 to $100 per video for such a service, which is nothing compared to how much a video with hundreds of thousands of views can make.

And so, the question is: Why not you?

Why can’t you make a living making automated YouTube videos?

It doesn’t have to be about kids; how about animals, scary moments, how-to videos, gaming videos where you record your screen while gaming, or the best sports moments in history?

Oh man, you know what came to my mind, history channels too.

There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of ideas for a faceless YouTube channel you can come up with.

Another big one is quiz channels.

Do a bit of research, and you’ll find channels that you may think are stupid, yet it’s those channels that make a fortune every time they upload a video.

Anyway…

Once you figure out what and where… and get an idea for a faceless YouTube channel, the next thing you want to learn is how to get more eyeballs on your new channel…

And for that, my friend… I can only recommend what I have experience with myself… and that is Jeff’s and Jessica’s 7-Day Shift program… which is a hidden gem for those looking to learn how to get more eyeballs to their new YouTube channels…

And one of the strategies that stand out amongst all the others (at least for me) was to create shorts from existing videos.

It’s when you take a video and pull out all the best moments and stitch it together in one short video, you can upload it to Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook Reels… and drive traffic to your new YouTube Videos…

But that’s just a drop in the bucket.

Wait until you get the whole strategy…

You’re going to skip a few years trying to learn it elsewhere.

I promise you that.

More about this and how you can make it work for you, you’ll find it here…

If you can’t be bothered, ignore this post…

I’m happy to finally understand what I’m supposed to do once I have a new video, new template, new course, book… whatever I want to share and desperately need more people to join in or buy my stuff.

Anything that helps me save time and money, I welcome with open arms.

I made the mistake of learning stuff myself, and it cost me a few years… which I guess is fine if you have time on your hands…

I don’t have much time.

Kids are growing fast…

My dreams, my plans are always a reminder that time is the only thing I can’t get more…

And so for me, a course like that, condensed, right to the point knowledge I need to know and understand is absolutely essential.

The older I get, the more I value paid programs, courses, books, and memberships because they always get me results faster than anything else out there.

And 100% of the time, save me time.

So again…

If you’re interested, watch the free video on the next page, join 7dayshift, learn like you’re a superhero, apply what you learn, and get real results faster than you ever had.

Do Lots of Experiments

How do you learn?

For me, it’s all about experimentation.

Back in Slovenia, I fell in love with sound recording.

I bought a Zoom H6 field recorder with a simple goal: record nature sounds, film landscapes with a drone, and share on YouTube as ‘Ultimate Relax.’

This project taught me how to fly a drone, video editing, and audio processing.

Today, these skills remain invaluable.

Experimentation is key.

Start a new project, no overthinking.

Learn as you go.

Here some of my old designs from the project.

I know, I know…

Nothing to brag about but again this was a project I learned a ton from.

Do you need a computer or laptop to start with Graphic Design?

Not at all…

I’ve done few of my designs on my phone.

So many apps out there that let you do a ton…

For example…

Desygner… (graphic design maker) is a good one.

Or…

Adobe Express

My favorite is of course Glorify but for that you’ll need a computer, laptop or at least tablet.

Success

What’s the meaning of a good life?

…is not wake up with an alarm clock.”

Not sure where I heard it but I absolutely love it. It reminds me of old days (2008) when me and my mate took off to New Zealand and the only thing on our minds was to enjoy the road ahead.

No phone…

No internet…

The freedom lasted for about a year…

And I could trade everything I posses to ever experience it again.

Either way…

Love the freedom of not waking up to an alarm!

Turned it into a story post in Glorify…

If you want the project, I’ll leave the link below.

Feel free to expand on the design…

Do whatever you want with it…

Google Font I Actually Like

Glorify - Race Social Media Post

Sunday Glorify session proved I found a Google font I really like.

Perfect for flyers…

Not just any…

If you’re into adventure, travel, overlanding or any type of hiking/camping niche and you’re looking for a great font to boost your ads, images, flyers and more…

…try this powerful font.

You find it in Glorify.

Type in…

“Charka Petch”

You’re welcome…

Gonna Die One Day…

So I better have a list of things I wanna do before I take my last breath…

Started the list with all the things I’ve done in the past…followed by the things I wanna do.

What I have realize is…

I’ve done a lot!

List like that makes me want to do more…

Once its written down, it becomes a real thing. Not just a thought but something to work towards it.

So… should you have one?

I say yes…

Write down what you wanna do…

Make a plan…

Work towards it, or risk it’ll never happen.

Invest In Yourself (Don’t Make The Same Mistake!)

The greatest advice I’ve ever received was…

“Invest in yourself.”

I can’t tell you how much time I have wasted trying to learn things myself versus buying a course with a clear path, served on a silver platter.

I could have been miles ahead, waving at myself in the rearview mirror.

I could have saved at least 2 years of my life.

And so, always, no matter what you’re trying to learn, learn it from someone who’s exactly where you want to be.

Let me give you a quick example.

So, in 2011, when I was in New Zealand, I searched for graphic design courses and found a few I couldn’t afford.

And even if I could, I didn’t want to spend 1000+ on a course…

Huge mistake!

And here is why…

Instead of going through it, getting a certification, and opening up a ton of new opportunities to secure a new job or new clients or whatever…

I decided to learn things myself.

Six months later, I was more confused, with no direction, lost, with no clients, no new job…

Nothing!

Frustrated as hell.

When I finally pulled my head out of the sand and bought the course, I couldn’t believe how fast I progressed.

I secured a new client 4 weeks after the purchase.

I learned how to use Photoshop, something I wouldn’t have been able to do even if I had tried.

Not in 2011 when tutorials on Youtube were only few and hard to find.

And so…

Whatever you’re trying to learn, learn it from someone who has laid a clear path in front of you… Someone who’s exactly where you want to be.

Books, workshops, courses, whatever they offer, get it all!

Don’t jump from one expert to another.

Learn from one… and one only until you get where you want to be.

It’s the fastest way to progress in life.

Now I don’t use Photoshop anymore.

I ditched it back in 2020.

I replaced it with Glorify.

And now I’m crafting beautiful images, ads, and social media content.

And I couldn’t be more excited.

I’ll take you through my recent project soon.

Anyway…

Keep in mind what I said in this short post and see for yourself what you’re going to do with this information.

First Post

Libor Bednarik

I might as well keep track of what I design, create, and document my journey…

Things that inspire me as a graphic designer, photographer, and someone who loves to travel.

My crazy brain dump with graphic design tips…

This blog is going to be a friendly reminder of the progress I make as the years go by.

I’m 23 days away from turning 42. Instead of waiting, let’s get shit rolling right now.
