What’s the meaning of a good life?

…is not wake up with an alarm clock.”

Not sure where I heard it but I absolutely love it. It reminds me of old days (2008) when me and my mate took off to New Zealand and the only thing on our minds was to enjoy the road ahead.

No phone…

No internet…

The freedom lasted for about a year…

And I could trade everything I posses to ever experience it again.

Either way…

Love the freedom of not waking up to an alarm!

Turned it into a story post in Glorify…

If you want the project, I’ll leave the link below.

Feel free to expand on the design…

Do whatever you want with it…

Google Font I Actually Like

Glorify - Race Social Media Post

Sunday Glorify session proved I found a Google font I really like.

Perfect for flyers…

Not just any…

If you’re into adventure, travel, overlanding or any type of hiking/camping niche and you’re looking for a great font to boost your ads, images, flyers and more…

…try this powerful font.

You find it in Glorify.

Type in…

“Charka Petch”

You’re welcome…

Gonna Die One Day…

So I better have a list of things I wanna do before I take my last breath…

Started the list with all the things I’ve done in the past…followed by the things I wanna do.

What I have realize is…

I’ve done a lot!

List like that makes me want to do more…

Once its written down, it becomes a real thing. Not just a thought but something to work towards it.

So… should you have one?

I say yes…

Write down what you wanna do…

Make a plan…

Work towards it, or risk it’ll never happen.

Invest In Yourself (Don’t Make The Same Mistake!)

The greatest advice I’ve ever received was…

“Invest in yourself.”

I can’t tell you how much time I have wasted trying to learn things myself versus buying a course with a clear path, served on a silver platter.

I could have been miles ahead, waving at myself in the rearview mirror.

I could have saved at least 2 years of my life.

And so, always, no matter what you’re trying to learn, learn it from someone who’s exactly where you want to be.

Let me give you a quick example.

So, in 2011, when I was in New Zealand, I searched for graphic design courses and found a few I couldn’t afford.

And even if I could, I didn’t want to spend 1000+ on a course…

Huge mistake!

And here is why…

Instead of going through it, getting a certification, and opening up a ton of new opportunities to secure a new job or new clients or whatever…

I decided to learn things myself.

Six months later, I was more confused, with no direction, lost, with no clients, no new job…

Nothing!

Frustrated as hell.

When I finally pulled my head out of the sand and bought the course, I couldn’t believe how fast I progressed.

I secured a new client 4 weeks after the purchase.

I learned how to use Photoshop, something I wouldn’t have been able to do even if I had tried.

Not in 2011 when tutorials on Youtube were only few and hard to find.

And so…

Whatever you’re trying to learn, learn it from someone who has laid a clear path in front of you… Someone who’s exactly where you want to be.

Books, workshops, courses, whatever they offer, get it all!

Don’t jump from one expert to another.

Learn from one… and one only until you get where you want to be.

It’s the fastest way to progress in life.

Now I don’t use Photoshop anymore.

I ditched it back in 2020.

I replaced it with Glorify.

And now I’m crafting beautiful images, ads, and social media content.

And I couldn’t be more excited.

I’ll take you through my recent project soon.

Anyway…

Keep in mind what I said in this short post and see for yourself what you’re going to do with this information.

I might as well keep track of what I design, create, and document my journey…

Things that inspire me as a graphic designer, photographer, and someone who loves to travel.

My crazy brain dump with graphic design tips…

This blog is going to be a friendly reminder of the progress I make as the years go by.

I’m 23 days away from turning 42. Instead of waiting, let’s get shit rolling right now.
