Rolling Into Monday With A New Movie Poster Designed In Glorify

…which actually begs the question.

Can you design movie posters in Glorify?

The simple answer is yes, but keep in mind that Glorify was not designed to handle heavy use of layers, textures, or gradients.

Masking in Glorify is non-existent.

In other words, it ain’t Photoshop!

Working with multiple layers can be a challenge, especially when you’re trying to cover parts of the image that you don’t want to see. Sometimes it requires stacking up layers in a specific way to get the desired outcome…

…which means it’s gonna be a long day for ya if that’s what you need.

For that kind of work, by all means, go to Photoshop. In Photoshop, you’ve got other tools like clipping masks and so on, making it easier to design movie posters.

But anyway… even though Glorify wasn’t designed for such things, it’s still a great tool to use to design anything you want, especially if you have zero design skills.

In fact my favorite design tool…

If you’re intetested and want to check it out, you can try it for 7 days for free.

How To Create Fake 3D Effect In Glorify

As of now, there is no 3D button you could click on to instantly turn 2D images into 3D.

However, there is a simple technique I’ve been using for a while that creates images almost as realistic as genuine 3D. It works with text, images, objects and more.

But before I share with you how I’ve achieved this simple effect, know that it’s not a real thing.

If you want real 3D, use tools like Cinema 4D, Lightwave, Blender, and whatever other 3D apps you can get your hands on your iPad and then bring it to Glorify.

Anyway…

Here is what I’ve done:

  1. Started a new project in Glorify (1920×1080) and named it Fake 3D.
  2. Dropped an image I found on Pixabay onto my canvas.
  3. Got rid of the background.
  4. Then duplicated the layer with the image and scaled it up until it was large enough, covering just part of the canvas.
  5. Placed text in between those layers and used a blur effect to blur the scaled image until it created an effect similar to what photographers call depth of field.
  6. Then I used another effect called noise and added a bit of noise for further enhancement.

And that’s it…

If you want me to make a video about it, let me know…

I also wrote aobut it in more detail here…

I’ll see if I can squeeze in a minute or two for a simple video, walking you through it step by step.

Woke Up With An Idea For Youtube Automation Channel

Woke up with an idea for an automated YouTube channel…

Something I’m diving into more and more, especially when my kids are here.

I became one big eye, spotting new opportunities everywhere.

Take kids’ videos, for example.

A guy goes out with a kid to build a sandcastle, and the video gets millions of views.

Or a kid plays with a toy he got from his dad, who’s behind the camera, and they assemble a new rocket ship, and again, the video gets hundreds of millions of views… and on and on.

I can’t help but think about how much money such channels make per video every time they upload. And then, how much the video makes after a year, two, or even five years through passive income as the channel ‘ages’ a bit.

How much do companies pay per video to have them ‘review’ or, better yet, play with their products? It’s thousands of dollars.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve played videos like these for my kids and let them watch them over and over again.

And how many times they’ve watched the entire YouTube ads because they didn’t know how to skip them.

Now, are making videos like these difficult? Heck no.

Is the video editing software expensive? No! Use CapCut; it’s free.

Is the voiceover (narration) costly for the creator? Of course not. With tools like ElevenLabs, it’s just a few bucks per video.

How much does it cost to hire a video editor or someone who does the research, edits the videos, and then sends you the finished product?

Well, based on Fiverr.com, you can expect to pay somewhere between $50 to $100 per video for such a service, which is nothing compared to how much a video with hundreds of thousands of views can make.

And so, the question is: Why not you?

Why can’t you make a living making automated YouTube videos?

It doesn’t have to be about kids; how about animals, scary moments, how-to videos, gaming videos where you record your screen while gaming, or the best sports moments in history?

Oh man, you know what came to my mind, history channels too.

There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of ideas for a faceless YouTube channel you can come up with.

Another big one is quiz channels.

Do a bit of research, and you’ll find channels that you may think are stupid, yet it’s those channels that make a fortune every time they upload a video.

Anyway…

Once you figure out what and where… and get an idea for a faceless YouTube channel, the next thing you want to learn is how to get more eyeballs on your new channel…

And for that, my friend… I can only recommend what I have experience with myself… and that is Jeff’s and Jessica’s 7-Day Shift program… which is a hidden gem for those looking to learn how to get more eyeballs to their new YouTube channels…

And one of the strategies that stand out amongst all the others (at least for me) was to create shorts from existing videos.

It’s when you take a video and pull out all the best moments and stitch it together in one short video, you can upload it to Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook Reels… and drive traffic to your new YouTube Videos…

But that’s just a drop in the bucket.

Wait until you get the whole strategy…

You’re going to skip a few years trying to learn it elsewhere.

I promise you that.

More about this and how you can make it work for you, you’ll find it here…

If you can’t be bothered, ignore this post…

I’m happy to finally understand what I’m supposed to do once I have a new video, new template, new course, book… whatever I want to share and desperately need more people to join in or buy my stuff.

Anything that helps me save time and money, I welcome with open arms.

I made the mistake of learning stuff myself, and it cost me a few years… which I guess is fine if you have time on your hands…

I don’t have much time.

Kids are growing fast…

My dreams, my plans are always a reminder that time is the only thing I can’t get more…

And so for me, a course like that, condensed, right to the point knowledge I need to know and understand is absolutely essential.

The older I get, the more I value paid programs, courses, books, and memberships because they always get me results faster than anything else out there.

And 100% of the time, save me time.

So again…
