My favorite silhouette of St. Peter’s Church in Sittard.
No doubt about it.
The sky was on fire… the sun slicing through. The reds were so vivid I couldn’t take my eyes off it.
You could see every shade of gold. Nature put on a real show that day, and I’m damn glad I captured it.
Oh, and the spot where I stood to take this shot? Gone. Erased. Demolished.
That’s what makes it hit harder for me.
It’s a moment that existed once… and now it’s burned into memory.
