That quote hit me hard.

Maybe because I’ve wasted too much time.
Maybe because I’m terrified of playing it safe.

Either way… I knew I wasn’t put here just to pass the time. I was put here to create, to tell stories, and hopefully inspire through my work.

And so here I am. My name is Libor Bednarik. I’m a photographer, designer, and content creator living in the Netherlands.

But I didn’t get here by following a straight line.

I grew up in a small city where boredom could eat you alive. My escape was graffiti. Cutting pages out of magazines. Sketching pieces in notebooks. Turning gray walls into color. That’s where my love for creating started.

Then came the travel bug.

In my early 20s, I hitchhiked across Europe.

Worked on projects in Africa.

Lived on the road in New Zealand.

Each place left its mark. Malawi showed me that creativity can be survival — that life isn’t about what you own, but about the connections you make. The people you meet. And how something as simple as running water can change everything.

New Zealand gave me a mentor who sharpened my craft. It gave me direction. It turned me into someone who draws inspiration from nature and sees heaven right here on Earth. My time there grew my appreciation for the outdoors like never before. And truthfully, I became who I am today because of the people I met in New Zealand.

And the Netherlands? That’s where I finally put it all together. New projects. More stability. Family. A cascade of life that grounded me after years on the road.

What I gained in those years?

PRICELESS!

Memories no one can take away. Experiences worth every cent. Time I’ll never regret spending.

Anyway…

To me… creativity isn’t just about making something look good. It’s about connection. About telling a story that matters.

That’s what I try to put into every photo, every design, every project I touch.
