You ever stare at your work so long it starts staring back?
It’s late. The kind of late where the air feels heavy. Outside is dark. The house is quiet.
You tell yourself it’s just the house settling… but deep down, you know something weird is going on.
You step into the kitchen to grab something to drink, and suddenly you hear sounds that weren’t there before.
A floorboard creaks.
Then something moves in the corner of your eye, and you feel like you’re being watched.
That’s exactly how it felt when I was working on this movie poster.
I don’t know what it was… the shadows on the screen, the silence, or the way the design started to look… alive.
At one point, I swear I heard whispering.
I must’ve been tired. My mind was playing tricks on me.
And never in all my years as a designer have I wanted to be done with a project faster.
But anyway…
