The reflections on the water got me.
So peaceful.
So quiet.
It was one of those really beautiful sunsets.
I was happy just being in Sittard, walking around and taking photos without any rush. Later I made my way into the city centre as well.
Slow walk.
Good light.

I went to Stadspark for an evening walk and to take a few photos…
and then the sky did this.
Pure luck — because I’m usually not that lucky.
But sometimes you really do end up in the right place at the right time.
This was one of those evenings I’ll remember for a long time.
This shot wasn’t planned.
I was walking home — tired, head full of noise — when the sky just EXPLODED.
Everything around me was dead silent.
The water didn’t move.
No people.
No traffic.
Just me and a sky that looked like it was on fire.
One of those spontaneous moments you can’t predict.
Pure magic!
On the way home I stopped by the bridge that goes over the rails in Sittard… and waited for the train to enter the scene. I took few shots and this one stood out.

The boats barely moved. The water looked like glass…
No rush.
No noise.
No stress.
