#56 Yoga Pose In Port Zélande

Yoga Pose In Port Zélande

Most people sleep through the best part of the day.

That quiet moment before the world wakes up… when the air bites a little, and the sun slowly starts painting everything gold.

We got up before dawn. Walked down to the beach in Port Zélande. No crowds. No noise.

Just the sound of water. I asked her to pose for me. She balanced perfectly against the sunrise.

There’s something special about mornings like this. They remind you that life doesn’t need more things… just more moments that make you feel alive.

#39 Catch It Or Loose It

Catch it or loose it

Watched my son reach for the ball the other day and it hit me.

Life’s the same way.

It throws chances at you. You either go for it… or let it drop.

There’s no replay. Just instinct and timing.

#38 Morning Bliss

Morning Bliss

It’s wild how good it feels when you strip it all back — no Wi-Fi, no scrolling, no rush.

Just air, trees, and breath.

That’s self-care and your brain recharging at the same time.

#35 Chasing Light in Geleen: My Morning Ride Turned Photo Adventure

Geleen Before Sunrise

“The road was empty, the air was cold, and for once, I didn’t want to be anywhere else.”

This morning I rode further than I planned. No goal… just my bike, my camera, cold air, and the sky turning orange.

The streets were empty, lamps still humming, and for a moment it felt like I was the only one awake.

There’s a kind of freedom in moments like that. No noise. No notifications. Just breath, wind, and tires on asphalt. Pure, quiet bliss.

My favorite time of the day.

#34 MTB Maintanence

MTB Maintanence

Spent the morning giving my bike some love… wiped off the mud, swapped the chain, tightened what rattled loose on the trails.

There’s something about clean gear, smooth spin that doesn’t rattle and makes you want to hit the trail again.

#33 Two Ducks And A Mountain Bike

2 Ducks And A Mountain Bike

I stopped by the lake this morning. Two ducks were gliding across the water, calm as hell.

The sunrise turned everything gold, and they just floated… no stress, no noise, no hurry.

I stood there, breath showing in the cold, knowing I would soon be stuck at work, listening to someone tell me what to do. And all I could think was… out here, life is still and beautiful. And most of us are too busy to even see it.

#25 Ridgemonkey Grilla BBQ

Ridgemonkey Grilla BBQ Dual Fuel

Most of the crap you buy collects dust. This didn’t.

Last year I stumbled on a video of some guy car camping in the mountains, flipping burgers on this foldable RidgeMonkey grill. Five minutes later, the idea had me by the throat. Next thing I knew, I was cooking my own burgers on it. And here’s what I’ve got to say about it…

I’ve grilled with it, cooked with it, dragged it along on trips… and it hasn’t let me down once.

Most gear is hype. This little BBQ? The best thing I bought in 2024. No doubt!

#19 Time for a hike

Somewhere on the Eifel Trail, Germany

Two minutes in and I’m already snapping photos like tomorrow isn’t a thing – chasing the last scraps of morning light.

The Eifel trail goes on for days, but this little stretch feels infinite, wild, and icreadibly beautiful. If you need a place to remember that the world isn’t all screens and schedules, Eifel’s waiting.

#18 Hidden Swim Spot

Hidden Swim Spot

Found a secret lake in Belgium.

Big enough to swim in. Clear water.

Hidden spots all around.

Wild and free.

Out there, you can actually chill.

Try that in the Netherlands and you’ll understand why ducks would rather pay rent than share a pond with humans.

#14 Hunters Hut

Hunters Hut - Eifel National Park

A shot from yesterday’s hike in the Eifel National Park in Germany.

#11 The Quiet Reminder

Show up now, because the “now” evaporates while you plan for later.

He is now 7, taking care of his younger brother. If you have kids, you know what I’m talking about.

#10 The Real Gift

Goose walking into a sunrise

Buying a new equipment is not gonna make you better photographer.

The ability to notice light cutting through the trees. To see compositions that the rest of the world walks right past.

That’s the gift.

Yes, better equipment helps but it doesn’t do much if it’s collecting dust on your shelve.

Go out and use what you’ve got.

Train yourself to see.

Notice!

#06 Moments Last Forever

The best journeys are measured not in miles but in moments captured along the way.

#02 After Morning Ride

Washing MTB Bike At Sunset

A photograph of my bike at the washing station.

I took it for a quick morning spin and got some awesome photos from the session. This gotta be my favorite.

Taken on my old Sony NEX system so that I don’t have to worry about damaging my camera.

Edited in Lightroom.

If you’re like me and like to edit your photos in Lightroom, soon I’ll be releasing my set of presets.

Nothing in the air as of now, but you can comment below and I’ll send it to you when it’s ready.
