#75 Seven shots. One scene. A minute from home…

75 Lightroom Panorama - Seven Shots

Found this old sequence of seven shots sitting on my hard drive. Stitched them together… and damn, it hit me again. This was autumn full of crazy deep reds.

We shot this about a minute from home. I told my girlfriend to stand in the shot with her mountain bike… just to show how massive this scene really was.

It’s wild how you can pass the same spot a hundred times and never really appreciate it until one day, you do… and it knocks the wind out of you.

#64 The Moon

The Moon

Maybe one day with a better lens, I might get a good shot.

#57 Five Days, One Perfect Sunset

Port Zélande Sunset

We got lucky that week in Port Zélande…

Five straight days of clear skies.

On the second evening, we walked down to the beach. The air was still, the sky turning gold. We didn’t say much — just watched the light reflect over the water.

Moments like that stick with you — not because they’re loud, but because they remind you how damn good it feels to just be there.

#56 Yoga Pose In Port Zélande

Yoga Pose In Port Zélande

Most people sleep through the best part of the day.

That quiet moment before the world wakes up… when the air bites a little, and the sun slowly starts painting everything gold.

We got up before dawn. Walked down to the beach in Port Zélande. No crowds. No noise.

Just the sound of water. I asked her to pose for me. She balanced perfectly against the sunrise.

There’s something special about mornings like this. They remind you that life doesn’t need more things… just more moments that make you feel alive.

#47 Happy Birthday, Beautiful

Happy B Love

Since we met, you’ve driven me absolutely insane in the best way possible.

You make my life louder, funnier, messier, and sharper.

But don’t get your hopes up… sometimes you’re annoying too!

Still, I wouldn’t trade a single second of it.

You’ve got this energy that pulls me in every damn time… The way you talk, the way you move, the way you carry yourself… even after four years, it’s still something I’d find hard to live without.

You make me want to be better. Not in some cliché way, but in that quiet way where I catch myself caring more,
feeling more, fighting harder.

You’ve become this beautiful problem I never want to solve.

So yeah… happy birthday, my love.

You’ve got me on fire, and I hope it never stops burning.

#46 Playing Outside

Alex And Kai

Nature’s playground doesn’t need batteries, bright screens, or apps to tell you how to play.

#39 Catch It Or Loose It

Catch it or loose it

Watched my son reach for the ball the other day and it hit me.

Life’s the same way.

It throws chances at you. You either go for it… or let it drop.

There’s no replay. Just instinct and timing.

#38 Morning Bliss

Morning Bliss

It’s wild how good it feels when you strip it all back — no Wi-Fi, no scrolling, no rush.

Just air, trees, and breath.

That’s self-care and your brain recharging at the same time.

#16 Drifting

The car ate the miles, but he didn’t move. Eyes fixed on the passing landscape, mind drifting far beyond the road.

#11 The Quiet Reminder

Show up now, because the “now” evaporates while you plan for later.

He is now 7, taking care of his younger brother. If you have kids, you know what I’m talking about.
